About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Work on AEM and related integration platform development projects through the entire lifecycle in collaboration with partners’ teams
Work with developers under the guidance of a technical lead to deliver requirements
Support existing implementations through enhancements and bug fixes
Develop technical approaches designed by the technical lead or architect to achieve business requirements
Document and peer-review technical approaches with the development team
Deliver enterprise-level AEM integration and development, including third-party client-side integrations and request/response flows
Gather AEM technical and functional requirements from business teams during discovery
Translate requirements into AEM UI solutions and document them
Create development approaches with the team and present them to the technical lead for approval, including effort estimates
Develop hands-on AEM features and functionality using modern design patterns such as atomic/modular, singleton, and factory patterns
Suggest alternative technical solutions for efficiency, reusability, and long-term value
Contribute to architectural decisions and development guidelines to ensure compliance
Conduct code reviews and promote strong coding standards
Collaborate with business stakeholders, partners, developers, technical leads, and architects
Work with little supervision, exercising initiative, organization, and judgment

Requirements

What you’ll need

Extensive, strong hands-on experience with AEM components, editable templates, client libraries, taxonomy, metadata management, forward and reverse replication, workflows, content publishing, tagging, campaigns, analytics, and targeting
Strong experience designing optimized AEM library delivery and reusability across tenants
Experience or understanding of third-party integrations, including search integrations, authentication handlers, web services integrations, and CRM integrations
E-commerce platform experience highly desirable, such as Magento or Salesforce Commerce Cloud
Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns using AEM, Search, Commerce package, or other platforms
Good understanding of AEM Multi-site Manager and Blueprinting
Experience with online marketing components, advanced targeting/personalization, and multivariate testing
Experience implementing AEM multi-tenant solutions
Experience implementing tagging and data layers for complex analytics, content targeting, and personalization scenarios
Experience conducting code reviews
Experience enforcing coding standards for security, efficiency, readability, and reuse
AEM Developer or Adobe AEM Advanced Developer certification is a plus
5+ years of overall experience delivering enterprise solutions
3+ years of experience developing with AEM Touch UI, version 6.4 and higher
4+ years of solution designing and executing AEM sites builds
Experience with editable templates, Touch UI components, React, Sightly, JSP, Java, Angular, servlets, services, third-party integration, server-side caching, atomic design, client libraries, jQuery, ES6, Sling models, experience and content fragments, Context Hub, Campaign, OSGi configuration, styling systems, multi-tenant architecture, MSM, front-end and server-side debugging, performance improvement, SEO debugging and tracking
Experience with targeting tools such as Adobe Target or DoubleClick is a plus
Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics is a plus
Experience with tagging systems such as Google Tag Manager or Adobe Launch is a plus
Experience with Magento, Salesforce integration, and product management system integration is a plus
Experience using Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, and Confluence
Experience with cloud hosting offerings
Experience designing CI/CD processes
Experience customizing GDPR presentation
Strong ownership and accountability
Broad web and digital knowledge with troubleshooting and problem-solving aptitude
Experience with agile methodologies
