About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive implementation, administration, training, tracking, and communication of HR policies and programs
  • Support performance management, talent management, employee relations, and HR-related compliance
  • Partner with HR leadership on employee relations matters, workplace investigations, Code of Conduct concerns, and resolution recommendations
  • Advise managers on employment legislation, HR best practices, applicable laws, and company policies
  • Support recruitment, applicant tracking, onboarding, internship programs, workforce planning, and job description management
  • Assist with organizational design, performance management, succession planning, talent development, employee engagement, and onboarding programs
  • Guide leaders and employees on performance management, career development, employee relations, and workplace concerns
  • Develop, implement, communicate, and maintain HR policies and procedures
  • Support compensation reviews, promotions, organizational changes, and related documentation
  • Lead and support HR initiatives, process improvements, internal communications, and organizational change projects
  • Act as a trusted HR partner to business leaders
  • Support coaching, training, succession planning, recognition, and workforce planning activities
  • Maintain HR systems and employee data, process personnel changes, and provide regular and ad hoc reporting
  • Coordinate employee wellness initiatives
  • Maintain organizational charts and workforce planning updates
  • Partner with EHS to promote a safe, healthy, and compliant work environment
  • Participate in cross-functional and regional HR forums and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Human Resources Manager(s)

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 3–5 years relevant HR experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree, HR Professional (PHR) certification, or related work experience
  • Prior experience supporting general and administrative functions in a headquarters environment desirable
  • Ability to work on-site five days a week, Monday through Friday, at the Valencia, CA location
  • Ability to work primarily in an office environment within a manufacturing facility
  • Occasional ability to walk through and visit the production floor
  • Travel required: 0%–10%
