About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
  • Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors
  • Deliver exceptional customer service
  • Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
  • Lift, position, and install door components as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices
  • Minimum age of 21
  • Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within twelve (12) months of employment and maintain certification as required
  • Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring
  • Access control systems knowledge is a plus
  • Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware is preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
  • Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively
  • Ability to occasionally lift, position, and install door components weighing up to 110 pounds with lifting aids, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to climb ladders, kneel, drive, and work in various positions as required
