About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Perform planned maintenance, break-fix repair, and upgrades of automated pedestrian doors at customer locations
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electro-mechanical devices, electrical circuits, and relay logic
- Work with aluminum frames, glazing materials, hardware, and low-voltage wiring
- Maintain professional communication with customers, end-users, and contractors
- Participate in training programs and maintain AAADM certification
- Operate power tools and perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs., climbing ladders, and kneeling
- Participate in on-call rotations after certification and training
Requirements
What you’ll need- Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices
- Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring; access control systems a plus
- Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware preferred
- Valid driver’s license and a good driving record
- High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork
- Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within one year of employment and maintain certification as required
