About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment
- Follow safety, preventive, and productive maintenance systems and processes
- Report to the Maintenance Engineer
- Keep the Maintenance Engineer informed of progress and machine condition
- Ensure machines perform effectively and efficiently
- Respond immediately to machine breakdowns
- Perform machine setup and conversion according to product and process requirements
- Work closely with the Engineering team to develop new models or products
- Collaborate with QA and Production to achieve one-time delivery and control machine yield
- Perform daily machine maintenance and troubleshooting to ensure product quality and productivity
- Schedule and perform machine preventive maintenance
- Update daily PM, downtime, CMMS, and ISO-related records
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment
- Comply with environmental control procedures and applicable legal requirements
- Report environmental incidents or needed improvements
- Communicate clear roles and responsibilities for environmental control
- Monitor compliance with environmental operational controls
Requirements
What you’ll need- Diploma or Vocational Certificate in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Manufacturing Engineering
- Preferably 2-3 years’ experience in Maintenance department of a manufacturing organization
- Fresh entry applicants are also welcome to apply
- Knowledge of Preventive Maintenance on Mechanical, Pneumatic and Electronic components
- Experience in PLC, CMMS & OEE tools is advantageous
- Willingness to work hard and long hours to minimize disruption in production
- Ability to communicate effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, and international technical standards
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including additions and subtractions
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with operating systems such as Windows
- Relevant technical knowledge

- Compliance with HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems
- Travel and fieldwork, including international travel; must possess or be able to acquire a valid US Passport
