About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist with maintaining and updating inventory records, including product receipts and dispatches
- Support inventory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and potential areas for improvement
- Assist in developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) related to inventory control
- Assist with implementing processes and procedures to optimize inventory control workflows
- Support sales and operations teams in identifying inventory needs and meeting customer demands
- Assist in identifying and resolving inventory-related issues, such as losses, obsolescence, and damage
- Prepare basic reports on inventory performance, highlighting areas requiring attention and recommendations for improvement
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge of inventory control and management
- Ability to analyze data and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Knowledge of inventory counts and stock movements
- Experience preparing management reports
- Knowledge of goods receipt and dispatch processes
- Basic understanding of identifying and addressing inventory discrepancies, losses, damage, and obsolescence
- Familiarity with audit, controllership, and loss prevention processes
