About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare sales, margin, and expense budgets, aligning them with the responsible departments across three annual cycles
  • Monitor actual results against budget to identify and understand variances and make the budgeting process increasingly accurate
  • Support regional teams by answering budget-related questions and making corrections when necessary
  • Report the official budget to corporate and regional departments
  • Participate in results meetings with senior management to understand the business and stay up to date on current and future projects
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and automation in the current process
  • Lead potential projects with the team and/or involved departments to drive continuous improvement in budget preparation

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, or related fields
  • Advanced Excel skills are essential
  • Knowledge of SAP FI and CO modules and the Oracle EPM (Planning) module is desirable
  • Experience in financial, strategic, and/or budget planning
  • Retail industry experience will be considered an advantage
  • Experience developing tools and preparing highly complex reports will be considered an advantage
