About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform all functions of an F&I Manager consistent with good business practices
  • Achieve performance standards set by the company or leadership
  • Isolate and resolve discrepancies in client performance and processes that negatively affect solicitation, sales, and desired profit margins for Assurant Dealer Services products
  • Organize, plan, and conduct client meetings
  • Promote communication and foster positive business relationships with clients
  • Facilitate training for dealership personnel on Assurant Dealer Services products, policies, and procedures
  • Identify opportunities for Assurant Dealer Services products not currently offered by existing clients
  • Complete Home Office reports, including 2-day kickoff worksheets, Trip Reports, and Post Assignment Evaluations
  • Submit business travel expenses and receipts through the expense portal
  • Coordinate airline, hotel, and car rental reservations through the Corporate Travel Department
  • Complete tasks requested by the Program Administrator, Director of Training, and other company employees
  • Manage expenses according to current Assurant Dealer Services expense guidelines
  • Travel extensively to client sites nationwide

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A minimum of 3 years retail automotive dealership experience, specifically F&I
  • Extensive knowledge of retail automobile dealership operation
  • Current state licensing required for assigned territory or the ability to obtain licensing after training
  • At least two years of experience in the field of sales, management, and customer relations required
  • Strong sales skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Computer skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access required
  • Must be a team player as well as able to work independently
  • Complete and graduate from our 1-week FSM Training Class
  • Candidates must be open to relocation for advancement opportunities
  • This position requires extensive travel to client sites
  • 80% nationwide travel
  • Employment is contingent upon completion of a required identity verification process, which may include biometric technology, where permitted by applicable law and subject to applicable notice and consent requirements
