About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, build, and maintain operational and management reports for US depot operations
Gather, organize, and document requirements
Perform system and data analysis and develop report solutions based on requirements
Provide production reporting support
Accommodate customers’ business needs and maintain positive customer relationships
Communicate technical concepts in non-technical terms
Provide technical guidance and mentoring in areas of acquired expertise
Produce internal and external customer and client reports
Automate data and reporting to improve profitability analysis efficiency
Perform variance analysis of key metrics and identify risks and opportunities early
Measure established KPIs and recommend alternative courses of action to improve performance
Collaborate with internal customers to improve existing reporting or develop new reporting
Propose methods and ideas to improve reporting systems

Requirements

What you’ll need

3+ years working as a reporting analyst with SQL and Excel within a professional environment
2+ years of experience working with visual tools; Power BI or Tableau desired
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems or related field
Advanced PC knowledge
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs; advanced macros a plus
Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of SQL, SSRS, Power BI, SSMS, and Oracle SQL Developer
Strong mathematical, analytical, and statistical skills
Professional, friendly, and courteous demeanor
High degree of integrity and ability to exercise sound judgment
Complex problem-solving skills
Ability to deliver results on time
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments
