About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6–10 Process Assurance Analysts, Senior Analysts, and Supervisors
  • Attract, hire, and develop future leaders within Connected Living’s Process Assurance function
  • Set expectations and provide feedback, coaching, and career development support
  • Lead the team through ambiguity, shifting priorities, and organizational change
  • Coordinate development, documentation, and implementation of business control activities
  • Analyze process effectiveness and recommend improvements
  • Evaluate control deficiencies and define and monitor risk mitigation action plans with management
  • Identify, document, and test controls within business processes
  • Monitor and test compliance with financial and non-financial internal control standards
  • Facilitate internal, external, and regulatory audits
  • Ensure compliance with SSAE 18, SOC1, SOC2, SOX, and other regulatory audit requirements
  • Coordinate audit resources and deliverables using prescribed tools
  • Build relationships with business leaders and cross-functional partners across Connected Living
  • Monitor industry, regulatory, and business changes affecting the control environment
  • Identify and champion automation and AI opportunities in audit coordination, control testing, and reporting workflows
  • Improve department processes, systems, and methodologies in partnership with the Director

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • BA in Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, Compliance, or a related field, OR 5+ years of equivalent process and control work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of cross-functional experience in risk management, process management, or internal controls
  • Minimum of 2 years leading and developing a team
  • Demonstrated experience leading and managing effectively through ambiguity and change
  • Experience driving results through cross-functional collaboration with business, IT, audit, and compliance partners
  • Proven people leadership skills
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong working knowledge of SOC1, SOC2, SSAE 18, and SOX audit and internal control frameworks
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification
  • Experience utilizing AI or automation tools to support process improvement and operational efficiency
  • Prior experience in a multi-client, matrixed audit or SOC reporting environment
  • Employment contingent upon completion of required identity verification
  • Ability to comply with applicable biometric technology notices and consent requirements, where applicable
