About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze product performance, profitability, customer needs, and market trends to identify risks and opportunities
  • Turn complex data into clear reports, visualizations, and actionable insights for leaders and business partners
  • Conduct competitive research and support decisions involving product positioning, pricing, rates, forms, and underwriting guidelines
  • Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, workflows, and product documentation
  • Support product changes from planning through QA, regulatory filing, release, implementation, and post-launch analysis
  • Partner with Product Management, Actuarial, Underwriting, Sales, Technology, and other teams to deliver improvements
  • Identify product, reporting, and process gaps and recommend practical solutions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • 2+ years of experience analyzing or supporting the performance of insurance, lending, banking, credit, healthcare-benefit, or other regulated financial products
  • Strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel formulas and functions and data visualization
  • Ability to translate data into findings and recommendations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Finance, Actuarial, Business Administration, Marketing, Mathematics, or closely related field is preferred
  • SQL, Power BI, or similar data-analysis tools are a plus
  • Experience analyzing product or portfolio performance, including profitability, risk, pricing, consumer behavior, or market trends, with exposure to multiple stages of the product lifecycle preferred
  • Employment contingent upon completion of a required identity verification process
  • Must complete virtual interviews on video
