Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan, organize, lead, control, and coordinate delivery of hazard outsourcing services at a remote service center
  • Maintain client relations related to outsourcing and manage multiple clients or multifunctional units
  • Develop strategic short- and long-term goals with senior management
  • Develop, administer, and monitor operating budgets, projections, and expenses
  • Formulate policies, administer procedures, and lead supervisory staff
  • Participate in hiring, workforce planning, discipline, terminations, training, performance standards, and employee development
  • Develop effective workflows, staffing levels, supervision, communication systems, and organizational structures
  • Develop, implement, document, and monitor quality assurance programs and regulatory compliance
  • Develop and oversee hazard training, leadership, succession planning, technology, customer service, and client-specific training programs
  • Manage inbound call volumes, staffing, scheduling, service levels, customer research, exception reports, and return/refund checks
  • Balance project assignments and volume requirements; handle escalated customer issues
  • Lead and coach supervisors through feedback and developmental opportunities
  • Manage new client implementations, task plans, procedures, training, and acceptance testing
  • Serve as outsourcing liaison for multiple clients and maintain strong client relationships
  • Ensure workspace, equipment, and supplies support operational needs
  • Participate in safety, fire prevention, and disaster recovery programs
  • Investigate complaints and take corrective or disciplinary action as needed
  • Facilitate client meetings and conference calls, review performance feedback, and implement procedure changes
  • Maintain knowledge of hazard insurance and outsourcing developments through self-development and professional organizations
  • Direct preparation and review of records, recurring and special reports, analyses, and corrective actions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 2 years (Level II) or 3 years (Level III) demonstrated experience leading and developing exempt-level employees (e.g., managers or supervisors) within a large-scale, multi-team operation
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding of human resource policies and procedures
  • Working knowledge of legacy servicing systems such as Alltel or MortgageServ and multi-client policies and procedures
  • General knowledge of mortgage servicing and regulatory and compliance procedures
  • Knowledge of property insurance products, including Assurant lender placed products
  • Business and financial knowledge related to budgeting and operating a remote service center
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Business) or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to support customer service objectives and provide value-added services
  • Leadership and coaching capability to ensure efficient and effective service delivery
  • Employment contingent upon completion of a required identity verification process, which may include biometric technology where permitted by law
