About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own RFP, RFI and proposal responses, including technical and security answers
- Write whitepapers, case studies, industry reports and other long-form content
- Run each pursuit from opportunity intake through submission
- Break requirements into a compliance matrix and set pursuit timelines
- Assign subject-matter experts, draft, edit and submit responses across concurrent pursuits
- Run the RFI and RFP standard operating procedure from intake and bid/no-bid input through kickoff, reviews, submission, clarifications, orals and debrief
- Manage schedules, contributors and reviews across Sales, Product, Clinical, Operations, Legal and Finance
- Organize pink, red and gold color-team reviews against evaluation criteria
- Own final assembly and quality control
- Write and verify content on integrations, architecture, security, privacy, compliance, implementation and support across AssureCare products and AI capabilities
- Tailor answers, identify content gaps and flag risks with subject-matter experts
- Write executive summaries, technical and management narratives, staffing plans and past-performance sections
- Incorporate win themes and adapt content for health plan, pharmacy and government evaluators
- Translate approved pricing into commercial sections, term sheets and decks within company policy
- Build and maintain a library of approved answers, references, security documents, templates and past performance
- Track pursuits in HubSpot and report on-time rate, advance rate, win rate and SME hours per response
- Draft bylines, articles, product overviews, web content and sales enablement materials with Marketing & Communications
- Apply AssureCare's messaging framework, voice and plain-language standards across proposals and content
Requirements
What you’ll need- 8+ years of professional writing in B2B healthcare or health technology
- At least 3 years in healthcare technology, payer, pharmacy or state government procurement
- Working knowledge of software integrations such as APIs, HL7 and FHIR
- Working knowledge of cloud and SaaS architecture
- Working knowledge of information security and privacy, including HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST and customer security questionnaires
- Portfolio of proposals and long-form content such as whitepapers or reports
- Ability to interview SMEs, interpret data and synthesize complex clinical, technical and market information
- Ability to manage several concurrent deadlines and keep busy SMEs moving
- Comfort writing about care management, utilization management, pharmacist clinical services and healthcare data
- Ability to translate PMPM, per user and per store pricing models into plain commercial language
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools
- Bachelor's degree in a related field such as English, communications, journalism, health administration or a technical discipline
- Experience with UM, CM, MTM, Medicaid, HIPAA and interoperability standards
- Familiarity with state and federal procurement and compliance requirements
- Experience building or running a response library or knowledge base
- Experience using proposal management software
- Experience handling security questionnaires, orals, best and final offers and clarification rounds
- Experience with an RFP response platform such as Loopio, Responsive or Qvidian
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM
- Experience with a project management tool such as Asana or Smartsheet
- Experience using AI writing tools responsibly
- Technical background or advanced education in engineering, computer science or health informatics, or equivalent hands-on technical experience
- Shipley Associates or APMP training or certification, or a security or cloud certification such as CompTIA Security+ or a cloud practitioner credential
