About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Engage exceptional Product Management and Design talent
- Partner with recruiters and hiring leaders to understand hiring needs and define target profiles
- Translate hiring needs into creative, focused sourcing strategies
- Build high-quality pipelines for senior Product and Design roles
- Identify overlooked, high-potential candidates using creative search techniques and unconventional signals
- Conduct talent mapping, market research, portfolio and case-study reviews, and research into product launches, design communities, referrals, conference talks, and writing
- Craft personalized outreach connecting candidates’ work, product experience, motivations, and potential impact to the opportunity
- Use response rates, conversion data, market feedback, and pipeline quality to improve searches
- Use AI tools to accelerate research, generate search ideas, personalize outreach, and improve efficiency while exercising judgment
- Proactively identify diverse Product and Design talent across backgrounds, company sizes, industries, product types, and career paths
- Design searches using LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean techniques, portfolios, product communities, design platforms, conference speaker lists, web research, and talent intelligence
- Calibrate candidate profiles with recruiters and hiring managers and share Product and Design talent-market insights
- Track sourcing activity, candidate engagement, pipeline progress, and search effectiveness
- Maintain accurate and timely candidate information and activity in Ashby or a similar ATS
- Help the company hire exceptional candidates through speed, creativity, persistence, and candidate judgment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience sourcing Product and/or Design talent, particularly senior-level roles
- Ability to build creative sourcing strategies beyond obvious titles, companies, and keywords
- Ability to use LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean techniques, portfolios, product communities, design platforms, conference speaker lists, web research, talent intelligence, and unconventional sourcing channels
- Ability to assess Product and Design talent, including customer empathy, product judgment, design craft, systems thinking, business impact, execution, and leadership
- Ability to write concise, personalized, credible candidate outreach
- Ability to use response rates, conversion data, market feedback, and pipeline quality to refine sourcing strategies
- Experience or willingness to use AI tools such as Claude, Codex, ChatGPT, or similar platforms
- Experience with Ashby or a similar applicant tracking system
- Strong communication and collaboration with recruiters and hiring managers
- Curiosity, resourcefulness, persistence, adaptability, and sound candidate judgment
