About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead a team of 8–10 sales professionals for the Phoenix South CVRM Primary Care team
- Apply understanding of pharmaceutical products, disease states and treatment guidelines in primary care
- Use sales metrics, market analysis and budget management insights to identify opportunities and guide strategic business decisions
- Identify opportunities, adapt approaches and coach the team to execute strategic priorities
- Coach and develop sales professionals through regular field engagement and supplemental virtual coaching
- Create a collaborative, inclusive and performance-driven team environment
- Identify growth opportunities and use market insights and customer feedback to shape innovative sales strategies
- Enable improved customer access and impact through an omnichannel selling approach using relevant technology
- Cover Scottsdale, Chandler, Tucson East, Tucson West and Mesa
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of demonstrated sales experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional or a related industry
- 7+ years of demonstrated people-management experience
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
- Strong knowledge of market dynamics, including budget considerations, formulary access and healthcare provider engagement
- Ability to coach and develop sales professionals to strengthen customer engagement and support positive patient outcomes
- Ability to set clear standards, establish accountability and enable strong team performance
- Ability to foster learning agility and use technology and data insights to identify new opportunities
- Prior product launch experience is desirable
- Deep understanding of CVRM pharmaceutical products, disease states and treatment guidelines in primary care is desirable
- Track record of building inclusive, collaborative and accountable teams through clear expectations, regular feedback and focused development is desirable
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and credibility through transparent communication, consistent follow-through, constructive issue resolution and cross-functional partnership is desirable
- Experience using market insights and evolving customer needs to establish a clear vision, set priorities and adapt execution through changing market conditions is desirable
