About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key external experts, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders across Oncology
- Spend approximately 70% of time on field activities, including scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and visit preparation
- Develop and execute strategic key external expert engagement plans
- Deliver balanced scientific updates and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in compliance with regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pre- and post-launch activities, diagnostics, and brand strategy
- Support local research initiatives, advisory boards, speaker training, and external medical education programs
- Act as internal expert on therapeutic trends, clinical practice insights, and competitive intelligence
- Provide scientific support for formulary listings, product launches, and company-sponsored medical events
- Enhance expertise through congress attendance, training, and the 70-20-10 learning model
- Ensure compliance with company and industry codes, SOPs, and ethical standards
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a pharmaceutical company
- At least 1+ years of experience in a similar position
- Experience in Medical Affairs, Oncology and/or a specialty portfolio within a multinational pharmaceutical company
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Medicine, or a related scientific field
- Ability to interact with and manage a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Strong presenting, negotiating, discussion-leading, communication, presentation, negotiation, and leadership skills
- Ability to convey complex information clearly and inspire cross-functional collaboration
- Interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Proficient in English
- Valid driving license
- Willingness to travel for field and business purposes
- Willingness to relocate to Libya or currently be based in/access Libya
- Advanced scientific degree in Life Sciences (MSc, PharmD, PhD) preferred
