About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide medical and scientific support for renal marketed products, new indications, and compounds in development
  • Engage in scientific exchange with targeted Key Opinion Leaders, Key Decision Makers, and Healthcare Professionals
  • Identify and engage key customers, researchers, and study investigators
  • Develop peer-level relationships aligned with Scientific and Medical Affairs strategy
  • Uncover barriers to optimal disease management and identify opportunities to improve patient outcomes
  • Provide actionable information to internal stakeholders and respond to customer inquiries
  • Deliver balanced clinical and scientific information supporting appropriate product use
  • Provide clinical support and deliver regional and national data presentations
  • Lead and manage projects within the field medical team and therapeutic area
  • Maintain expertise in disease-state management, emerging therapies, and the competitive landscape
  • Follow internal standard processes and meet regulatory and compliance requirements
  • Train and mentor others in the therapeutic area

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced Clinical/Science Degree required (e.g. MD, PharmD, PhD, NP, PA-C, etc.; BSN with extensive clinical experience may be considered)
  • 3 years experience in a Clinical or Commercial setting
  • Thorough understanding of healthcare system landscape
  • Established networks and clinical experience within TA area focus
  • Experience in pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership capabilities
  • Excellent project management ability
  • Thorough knowledge of regulatory environment
  • Ability to travel 50-70% (percentage varies with geography)
