  • Engage tumor-based customers through in-person and virtual mediums
  • Lead interactions with appropriate HCPs
  • Conduct on-label tumor-based clinical selling with providers supporting patient care
  • Identify customer education needs and share appropriate insights
  • Identify tumor-focused business priorities at account and territory levels
  • Work with the Oncology Business Manager to create and manage account plans
  • Engage multidisciplinary care stakeholders across the tumor patient journey
  • Employ omnichannel engagement to complement personal promotion
  • Uphold AZ values, ethical standards, and compliance expectations
  • Assess account dynamics, decision-making drivers, priorities, local trends, and clinical-practice ecosystems
  • Conduct opportunity assessments across diagnosis, treatment, and patient management
  • Develop tumor-focused account and territory business plans
  • Identify multidisciplinary stakeholders and develop engagement plans
  • Coordinate with cross-functional peers, managers, and field team members
  • Engage account stakeholders to address tumor priorities
  • Provide geography-level priorities and plans based on territory opportunities and barriers
  • Share customer-needs insights with internal functional experts
  • Educate HCPs on efficacy, safety, dosing, approved indications, unmet needs, biomarkers, companion diagnostics, and patient identification
  • Respond to customer objections using approved messaging and resources
  • Deliver compliant education on diagnosis, treatment, and patient management using approved materials

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A valid driver’s license and safe driving record
  • Demonstrated clinical selling skills and business acumen in complex selling environment
  • Demonstrated collaboration, entrepreneurialism, flexibility and tenacity
  • Ability to learn, analyze, understand and convey complex information
  • 3+ years of demonstrated Sales or Commercial experience or a combination of pharmaceutical, healthcare, scientific, clinical, institutional, or related industry/settings within the healthcare ecosystem
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience
  • 2+ years of Oncology sales experience in lung cancer
  • Pharmaceutical sales experience preferred
  • Oncology sales experience, specifically lung cancer
  • Experience with successful launches and balancing a complex portfolio
  • Track record of building customer relationships through various mediums and strong sales goal achievements
