About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with Key External Experts (KEEs), healthcare professionals (HCPs), and key stakeholders across Respiratory
  • Spend approximately 70% of time on field activities, including scientific exchange, stakeholder engagement, and visit preparation
  • Develop and execute strategic KEE engagement plans
  • Deliver balanced scientific updates and respond to unsolicited medical inquiries in compliance with regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on pre- and post-launch activities, diagnostics, and brand strategy
  • Support local research initiatives, advisory boards, speaker training, and external medical education programs
  • Act as internal expert on therapeutic area trends, clinical practice insights, and competitive landscape intelligence
  • Provide scientific support for formulary listings, product launches, and AstraZeneca-sponsored medical events
  • Enhance expertise through congress attendance, AstraZeneca training, and the 70-20-10 learning model
  • Ensure compliance with AstraZeneca and industry codes of conduct, SOPs, and ethical standards

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Medical Doctor (MD) or Pharmacist/Clinical Pharmacist
  • 2+ years of experience in Medical Affairs in a similar position, preferably in a Multinational Company
  • Experience in Respiratory is a must
  • Proven stakeholder-management track record with KEE, HCPs, and cross-functional partners
  • Excellent scientific knowledge, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to travel between Lebanon and Jordan and as business needs require
  • Position is based in Lebanon and is not open for relocation; applicants must be located in or able to easily access this location
