About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Plan and coordinate aspects of complex data center projects from initiation to delivery
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure new builds, retrofits, and technical modifications are completed on schedule
  • Gather and maintain project requirement lists
  • Coordinate and monitor equipment transfers to ensure on-time delivery
  • Provide weekly project updates, including action item updates
  • Schedule and coordinate project reviews and follow up on assigned actions
  • Communicate project status accurately to the project team
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, schedules, work hours, and expenditures
  • Assist with identifying project issues, determining the appropriate team member for solutions, and escalating issues to the client manager
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Document and follow up on important meeting actions and decisions
  • Collaborate with regional teams responsible for project resources and ticket resolution
  • Monitor the ticketing system daily and reassign tickets where required
  • Produce regular reports
  • Identify trends or recurring problems and escalate them to management
  • Assist with locating and defining process improvement opportunities
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of processes and procedures
  • Work closely with SDMs/Project Managers on analytical needs, critical metrics, KPIs, and actionable insights
  • Perform other duties as required

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate's degree (A.A) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 2 to 5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Flexibility essential; the role requires both office and remote commitments, as well as willingness to occasionally adjust work hours due to work with regional colleagues
  • Experience working with Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Previous experience with ticketing systems and/or project management system
  • Understanding of or previous experience in a technology driven environment
  • Proactive attitude and dependable
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Ability to work both within a team and independently
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize workload
  • Problem-solving and decision making skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional decorum
  • PMP or CAPM preferred
  • Must have the ability to perform office-related tasks which may include prolonged sitting or standing
  • Must have the ability to move from place to place within an office environment
  • Must be able to use a computer
  • Must have the ability to communicate effectively
  • Some positions may require occasional repetitive motion or movements of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
