About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop Cloud native applications, focusing on creating microservices for Tax
Work closely with product owners, architects, and developers across the organization
Integrate greenfield development with existing infrastructure
Own technical output as part of a product application development team
Collaborate with software engineering teams, product managers, operations, and the executive team
Design, develop and maintain event driven cloud native HCM software
Develop and maintain full-stack applications using .NET Core/Framework for backend and modern JavaScript frameworks for frontend development
Design and implement secure, scalable, and well-documented RESTful APIs and microservices
Maintain customer focus and understand the team's charter
Write and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
Apply application observability, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD tools
Collaborate on best practices, code reviews, and continual process improvements
Contribute to scrum ceremonies including daily stand-up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, and sprint review

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development related field, or similar work experience
8+ years of work history in full stack production engineering experience, in a SaaS software environment
Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework Core or Dapper
Strong hands-on experience with .NET (Core/Framework) and cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
Experience designing and operating microservices in a container-orchestrated environment
Familiarity with serverless architecture
Frontend expertise with Vue.js, React, Angular, or any other modern JavaScript framework
Working knowledge of Database like RDBMS, NoSQL
AWS associate level certification is an advantage
All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US
