Requirements
What you’ll need- Valid state driver’s license
- Must meet 300 lbs weight limit, including tools and materials, due to safety restrictions
- Ability to perceive differences in wire and cable colors
- Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs
- Qualify on pre-employment screening
- Ability to make and complete splices in various types of communication cables
- Ability to review and analyze complex schematic drawings
- Ability to use electrical test instruments to determine defective wire or fiber
- Ability to repair and maintain outside cable facilities
