About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain supply plans supporting demand requirements while optimizing inventory investments
- Generate SKU-level demand and purchase forecasts using historical data, business intelligence, and market trends
- Monitor inventory positions and procurement requirements to ensure continuity of supply and product availability
- Develop inventory strategies balancing service levels, inventory turns, and capital efficiency
- Analyze inventory health, excess and obsolete inventory, and stocking policies
- Identify and mitigate supply risks, shortages, and constraints through contingency planning
- Partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply challenges and improve resiliency
- Build supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance, delivery commitments, quality metrics, and service levels
- Conduct demand analysis and validate forecasts with business and operational partners
- Coordinate logistics activities and collaborate with logistics providers and fulfillment teams
- Lead cross-functional planning discussions and influence stakeholders through data-driven recommendations
- Present business insights, risks, performance trends, and improvement opportunities to leadership
- Perform advanced data analysis and develop reports, dashboards, and planning models
- Translate large data sets into actionable business recommendations
- Lead process improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
- Support strategic network initiatives, operational readiness analysis, and supply readiness for business-critical deployments
- Leverage Microsoft Copilot, Claude, OpenAI models, and approved AI technologies for analysis, forecasting, reporting, planning, and decision-making
- Champion responsible AI adoption and digital innovation
- Lead significant projects with strategic autonomy, influence executive-level decisions, mentor less experienced employees, and develop enterprise-wide solutions
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Inventory Management, Demand Planning, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, or a related field
- Experience supporting complex supply chain environments involving multiple suppliers, product categories, and stakeholders
- Strong analytical, forecasting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience utilizing data to develop strategic recommendations and influence business outcomes
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis applications
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Preferred: APICS/ASCM CPIM, CSCP, CPSM, or related Supply Chain certification
- Preferred: Experience with ERP, forecasting, inventory management, procurement, and supply planning systems
- Preferred: Experience developing dashboards, automation solutions, and business intelligence reporting
- Preferred: Experience working with AI-enabled business productivity and analytics tools
- Preferred: Experience supporting large-scale operational transformation or network initiatives
