Gather, analyze, and interpret diverse data sets to solve business problems, predict behaviors, and identify causal relationships, trigger points, and predictions
Apply advanced statistical methods to quantify data variances and support decision-making
Develop business cases and complex models using big data analytics tools
Build and test predictive models and verify their accuracy in real-world scenarios
Develop dashboards, reports, charts, and other data visualizations
Advise business partners on data patterns and relationships and recommend strategic business directions or outcomes
Lead critical, high-impact projects and design and implement innovative business strategies
Consult senior leadership and influence executive decisions
Mentor others and assist with challenging issues

Requirements

What you’ll need

Master's degree (MS/MA) desired from an accredited University in a Quantitative field of study such as Data Science, Math, Statistics, Engineering or Physics
7+ years of related experience
Certification is required in some areas
Expertise in advanced analytics, predictive modeling, statistics, and trend analysis
Experience with relational databases such as Oracle or MySQL and/or data warehouses such as Snowflake or Databricks Delta Lake
Experience with data lakes, data warehouses, eCDW, BIDW, and diverse internal and external data sources
Proficiency with Tableau, Palantir, Power BI (AI Insights), Databricks, AWS, Azure, Synapse, and H2O Driverless AI
Experience with big data analytics, business case development, complex modeling, and predictive models
Knowledge of linear/logistic regression and time series modeling
