About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Architect, develop, and optimize scalable, high-performance Data & AI solutions
- Lead creation of scalable Data & AI applications using automation, version control, and CI/CD
- Develop and implement testing strategies for application reliability and performance
- Oversee deployment processes and address configuration, environment, and security issues
- Translate Data & AI use-case requirements into data models and pipelines
- Ensure data integrity through statistical quality procedures and advanced AI techniques
- Architect and build secure, scalable microservices and APIs
- Evaluate technologies for cloud and on-premise deployments
- Implement scalability, performance monitoring, and cost-optimization strategies
- Lead critical, high-impact projects and design innovative business strategies
- Consult senior leadership, influence executive decisions, mentor others, and assist with challenging issues
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired such as Computer Science or Scientific Computing
- 7+ years of related experience
- Certification is required in some areas
- Expertise with Data & AI technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Proficiency in Java, Scala, Python, and SQL
- Experience with HTTP/REST and GraphQL API development patterns
- Experience with Azure, AWS, and GCP
- Knowledge of automation, version control, CI/CD, rigorous testing, deployment, security, data models, data pipelines, statistical quality procedures, microservices, scalability, performance monitoring, and cost optimization
