About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Design, build, deploy, and support cloud-native platforms that manage millions of connected broadband devices
  • Develop scalable applications, APIs, and microservices using modern software engineering practices
  • Lead technical design, architecture, and platform evolution for broadband device management solutions leveraging TR-069 (CWMP) and TR-369 (USP)
  • Build and operate highly available solutions on AWS and Kubernetes
  • Improve platform reliability through automation, observability, CI/CD, testing, and DevOps best practices
  • Troubleshoot complex production issues and participate in on-call support
  • Leverage AI-powered tools to accelerate development, testing, monitoring, operational support, and engineering productivity
  • Collaborate with product, architecture, security, operations, and vendor teams to deliver business-critical capabilities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of software engineering experience building and operating large-scale distributed systems
  • Strong expertise in broadband device management technologies, including TR-069 (CWMP) and TR-369 (USP)
  • Hands-on development experience with Java and/or Python
  • Experience developing cloud-native applications in AWS
  • Experience with Kubernetes, containers, microservices, REST APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision
  • Experience supporting platforms that manage millions of broadband devices
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, or ELK
  • Experience applying AI to software development, testing, operations, or intelligent automation
  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, and mentor engineers
  • A passion for engineering excellence, continuous improvement, and delivering reliable customer experiences
