About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the negotiation and lifecycle management of agreements for strategic Mobility suppliers, including MPAs, promotional agreements, amendments, and LOIs
- Lead complex commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, product commitments, warranties, credits, delivery obligations, and risk protections
- Partner with Legal, Risk, Finance, Product, Marketing, Planning, and Supply Chain to coordinate approvals and execute agreements
- Develop and execute sourcing and category strategies for Mobility suppliers and device programs
- Use market intelligence, cost analysis, supplier capabilities, and technology trends to inform negotiation strategies
- Lead RFPs/RFQs and evaluate new suppliers, technologies, and commercial models
- Serve as strategic commercial lead for Tier-1 and Tier-2 OEM/ODM relationships
- Monitor supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery, launch readiness, compliance, and commercial commitments
- Manage promotional funding, credits, licensing, invoicing, and receivables with internal stakeholders
- Assess supply, cost, technology, geopolitical, and commercial risks
- Develop and execute supply continuity mitigation strategies
- Ensure sourcing and contracting activities follow corporate policies, approval requirements, and regulatory obligations
- Establish and monitor supplier, sourcing, and commercial performance metrics
- Prepare executive-level analyses and updates for senior leadership
- Lead improvements to sourcing and contracting processes, governance, cycle time, and operational effectiveness
- Advise senior leaders and influence cross-functional decisions
- Serve as a thought leader and mentor
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
- 7+ years of related experience
- Master’s degree preferred
- Preferred experience in the Telecommunication industry
- Expertise in strategic sourcing and supplier management
- Broad business knowledge, Mobility market insight, and understanding of emerging technologies
- Ability to lead complex commercial negotiations and supplier relationships
- Ability to operate with minimal oversight and exercise sound judgment
- Ability to advise senior leaders and develop executive-ready recommendations
