About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee software application and service delivery across design, development, testing, deployment, production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance
  • Gather and review software requirements and user stories, provide estimates, and create software design specifications
  • Assess and test hardware and software interactions with engineers and architects
  • Create and execute automated test plans and strategies
  • Validate test environments, test data, and test results; design and implement code fixes
  • Perform unit, dynamic application security, interface, integration, end-to-end, and user acceptance testing
  • Support applications, resolve configuration and environment issues, and support software deployment
  • Review deliverables from cross-vendor teams
  • Develop, implement, and manage QA processes for Salesforce products
  • Define and communicate quality standards and parameters for Salesforce systems
  • Collaborate with product owners, developers, stakeholders, and business owners throughout the Salesforce development cycle
  • Manage Salesforce CRM UI and backend web-services functional, integration, and end-to-end testing; support UAT
  • Enable production support and automate suitable features using Selenium and Postman
  • Govern testing best practices, methodologies, and delivery for Salesforce systems
  • Develop testing program strategies and integration testing strategies for data flow between Salesforce and ERP systems
  • Plan, conduct, monitor, and inspect Salesforce product testing
  • Enhance QA methodology for test and defect management
  • Manage external vendor relationships and Salesforce consulting services
  • Provide Salesforce product training
  • Lead resource allocation, test estimation, defect triage, and stakeholder meetings
  • Maintain JIRA for defect management and track customer-facing issues
  • Escalate unresolved issues and drive defects to closure

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
  • 7 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation
  • Experience overseeing software application and service delivery, including design, development, testing, deployment, production support, troubleshooting, and maintenance with a focus on automation
  • Experience using various programming languages to execute specific development methodologies
  • Experience performing CRM and Point of Sales testing
  • Experience with test estimation, test planning, and test automation
  • Experience utilizing Postman, SoapUI, and Selenium
  • Experience utilizing SQL/SOQL, Java, JavaScript, and XML
  • Experience with database technologies such as Oracle
