About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to support new business opportunities, initiatives, and expansion areas
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and threats
- Evaluate competitive and industry dynamics
- Develop strategic initiatives and business plans aligned with organizational goals
- Identify growth opportunities and business model innovation
- Facilitate cross-business-unit initiatives
- Provide analysis and insights to support leadership decision-making
- Develop financial models and forecasts to evaluate strategic initiatives and business opportunities

Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired
- 3+ years of related experience
- Certification is required in some areas
- In-depth knowledge of business economics
- Understanding of income statements and balance sheets
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis
- Experience developing strategic initiatives and business plans
- Experience with financial and strategic analysis
- Ability to develop financial models and forecasts
- Ability to distill complex problems into succinct, easily understood conclusions
- Ability to develop presentation materials and present hypotheses, conclusions, and recommendations
- Knowledge of industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities
- Ability to participate in negotiations of principal transaction terms and conditions
