About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and code software applications using various programming languages and development methodologies
- Gather and review software requirements
- Provide estimates and create design specifications
- Work with engineers and architects to assess and test hardware and software interactions
- Develop and implement automated test plans
- Validate test environments, data, and results
- Design and implement code fixes and produce reporting
- Troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues
- Facilitate and support the software deployment process
- Provide production support with a focus on automation and industry best practices
- Lead moderate-sized projects or parts of larger projects
- Guide others using advanced principles and company practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) desired in Computer Science
- 3+ years of related experience
- Certification is required in some areas
- Proficiency in designing and coding complex software applications
- Ability to design a solution spanning multiple domain functions
- Ability to implement high-quality code adhering to company standards in coding, testing, and security
- Ability to develop automated test plans and validate test environments, data, and results
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve application configuration and environment issues
