About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support AI-enabled vulnerability management for AT&T India
- Collaborate with US and India Cyber Security teams
- Develop, implement, and operationalize AI-enabled vulnerability-management capabilities in application and infrastructure security within a DevSecOps framework
- Develop next-generation AI capabilities for detection, analysis, mitigation, and response
- Partner with Engineering and Operations teams, including incident response, security engineering, cloud security, and insider threat
- Collaborate with Cyber teams, Policy & Compliance, and Tech Risk to align, scale, and govern solutions
- Break down complex problems and unblock execution at critical moments
- Serve as a technical and strategic sounding board across the organization
- Bridge innovation and operationalization to ensure capabilities are production-ready and adopted at scale
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 8+ years of experience performing security engineering in application and infrastructure vulnerability management
- 6+ years of experience in application and infrastructure penetration testing
- 2+ years of experience assessing complex systems with AI / ML / Data Science capabilities and services
- Experience deploying and operating tools and processes to analyze security threats and vulnerabilities in DevSecOps
- Awareness of AI-driven risks, including adversarial ML, data poisoning, and model hallucination, and their mitigation in enterprise environments
- Experience performing incident management
- Ability to design and implement strategies to protect AI systems from cyber-attacks
- Ability to design and implement adversarial test plans
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commitment to staying current with cybersecurity developments through ongoing training and professional development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Ability to operate with urgency in high-stakes environments
- Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems without defined playbooks
- Ability to engage across organizational boundaries
- Ability to deliver outcomes, not only concepts or prototypes
- Ability to raise execution standards across the broader organization
- Flexibility to provide coverage during US morning hours on a need-basis and as required
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, mathematics, information systems, engineering, or cybersecurity is desirable
- Industry certifications such as CISSP, SANS, and/or other relevant certifications are desirable
- Understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI governance frameworks such as NIST AI RMF and EU AI Act readiness is a plus
