About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop network layouts and ensure compliance
- Conduct feasibility studies and capacity planning
- Manage cell site equipment layout and parameter definition
- Monitor and optimize network performance
- Troubleshoot network issues and analyze RAN data
- Perform RF optimization and capacity management
- Deploy network solutions and conduct testing and validation
- Manage configurations and oversee installation, maintenance, and optimization of wireless RAN systems
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, including satellite network routing problems
- Work with stakeholders and manage vendor relationships
- Provide customer support
- Coordinate installation, maintenance, and optimization activities with various teams
- Implement policy changes to improve functions
- Contribute to AT&T’s compliance with environmental laws and regulations as applicable to the job function
Requirements
What you’ll need- Up to 3 years of related experience
- Certification is required in some areas
- Bachelor’s Degree (BS/BA) in Engineering preferred
- Must work onsite five days per week at the designated Southfield, Michigan location
- No relocation is offered
- AT&T will not hire applicants who require employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Ability to perform RF engineering and Radio Access Network (RAN) design engineering
- In-depth knowledge of RAN technologies
- Ability to handle complex RAN engineering tasks
- Ability to work with independent judgment on expansive projects with minimal supervision
- Ability to contribute to compliance with applicable environmental laws and regulations
