About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work in collaboration with the Clinical Director and other intake workers to ensure day-to-day admission operations are successful
  • Provide on-site, in-person, and virtual intake sessions with all prospective Athena clients
  • Collect client information and documentation and determine client needs
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team to assess level of care, plan an admission schedule, and communicate case formulation and clinical recommendations
  • Ensure all proper intake assessments and documentation are completed by assigned deadlines
  • Lead, mentor, communicate, and supervise other clinicians in assessment and treatment planning
  • Conduct intake sessions for potential Athena clients

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field required
  • Requires NYS licensure as a mental health practitioner (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT)
  • At least two years of clinical experience is preferred
  • Bilingual (Spanish)
  • OMH (Article 31) experience preferred
  • Ability to lead, mentor, communicate, and supervise other clinicians
  • Must complete intake assessments and documentation by assigned deadlines
