About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead Athos Commerce's product and technology strategy, translating commercial objectives into product direction, investment decisions, and consistent execution
- Oversee Product Management, Engineering, System Architecture, Platform Operations, Product Design, Data, and Information Security
- Lead integration across Athos Commerce's established commerce platforms
- Establish a unified product and technology vision aligned with customer needs, market opportunities, and business growth objectives
- Oversee customer discovery, product roadmaps, lifecycle management, and investment prioritization
- Lead platform integration and modernization while maintaining product delivery, improving technical architecture, and managing technical debt
- Improve product implementation and self-service configuration for merchants and agency partners
- Lead global engineering teams and maintain strong development practices, accountability, and execution
- Oversee architecture, cloud infrastructure, platform operations, security, compliance, reliability, scalability, and cost-effectiveness
- Engage merchants, agency partners, and prospects; partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Finance on positioning, pricing, launches, and customer commitments
- Recruit, mentor, and develop senior Product and Technology leaders across distributed teams
- Identify and bring AI and machine learning capabilities to market and embed AI into Product and Engineering workflows
- Manage budgets, workforce planning, vendors, technology investments, risk management, and communication of priorities and risks to executive leadership and the board
Requirements
What you’ll need- Significant senior leadership experience within a software or SaaS organization, with direct responsibility across both Product and Engineering functions
- Proven track record of developing and executing product and technology strategies that deliver measurable customer value and commercial results
- Direct experience building ecommerce search, product discovery, merchandising, or personalization products; marketing technology experience is a plus
- Strong technical judgment across software architecture, development practices, cloud infrastructure, platform reliability, scalability, and information security
- Experience leading complex platform integrations, technology modernization initiatives, or organizational transformation while maintaining ongoing product delivery
- Practical experience bringing AI and machine learning capabilities to market and integrating AI into Product and Engineering workflows
- Strong commercial understanding of SaaS business models, including recurring revenue, customer retention, margins, profitability, and cost to serve
- Demonstrated success building, scaling, and developing senior Product and Engineering leadership teams
- Experience leading distributed teams across multiple countries, regions, and time zones
- Ability to make and communicate complex tradeoffs between business growth, customer commitments, delivery capacity, and long-term platform sustainability
- Strong financial and operational management experience, including departmental budgets, workforce planning, and strategic technology investments
- Excellent executive communication skills, with the ability to engage customers, agency partners, technical teams, executive leadership, and board members
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across commercial and technical functions to drive shared business objectives
