About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Complete the monthly accounting close within established deadlines
Perform complex analyses and reconciliations of balance sheet and income statement (P&L) accounts
Prepare individual and consolidated financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow Statement, Statement of Changes in Equity, and Notes to the Financial Statements) under Brazilian GAAP and US GAAP
Ensure the proper application of national and international accounting standards (CPC/IFRS)
Provide support and assistance during external audits
Analyze and control property, plant and equipment, depreciation, amortization, and accounting provisions
Support the Tax and Finance teams in aligning operational routines and recurring reconciliations
Identify opportunities to improve and automate accounting processes

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
Active professional accounting registration (CRC)
Solid experience with accounting close activities and preparation of financial statements
Advanced knowledge of applicable accounting standards (CPCs/IFRS)
Advanced Excel skills and experience analyzing large volumes of data
Experience using large-scale ERP systems (e.g., TOTVS)
Experience with ERP transition projects or automation of accounting routines
Experience in mid-sized or large companies, or supporting Big Four audits
Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and AI applications
