About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Compile and review billing information
Create and review sales orders
Monitor the project invoicing cycle
Create invoices
Post cash receipts
Support client collections
Perform AR account and deposit reconciliations
Respond to customer and internal inquiries
Research billing and customer payment discrepancies
Generate accounting statements and reports
Assist with month-end and annual close
Perform general ledger review and reconciliations
Support day-to-day operations of the accounting department
Complete other duties/projects as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams
Experience with accounting software; Microsoft Dynamics 365 a plus
Dependable and able to maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Maintain professional relationships with all levels of management
Ability to communicate effectively both written and oral
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Associate's Degree in Accounting (or relevant field of study) or equivalent in private sector accounting or bookkeeping experience
2-4 years related work experience
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout employment
