About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Gather and manage requirements throughout the delivery and operational lifecycle
- Define and manage scope, elicit and document requirements, and prioritise activities
- Model business processes and identify process improvement opportunities
- Conduct data modelling and mapping to support analysis and solution design
- Identify risks, issues, benefits and business impacts of existing and proposed solutions
- Validate systems, products, platforms and services against requirements, experience goals, metrics and targets
- Identify, analyse and engage stakeholders, including external enterprise customers and vendors
- Facilitate discussions, influence stakeholders, resolve problems and manage resolutions
- Simplify technical information for nontechnical audiences
- Support solution testing, user acceptance testing and implementation
- Support business transitions and establish change and improvement initiatives
- Create and maintain documentation for projects, processes and operations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 3–5 years’ experience working as a Business Analyst
- Business analysis experience across the delivery lifecycle, including requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, prioritisation and traceability
- Knowledge of payments technology, IT systems and the financial services industry
- Experience working directly with external enterprise customers and vendors
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience modelling business processes and data
- Experience supporting solution validation, user acceptance testing and implementation
- Experience identifying risks, issues and dependencies and assessing business impact
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall delivery practices and tools such as Jira
- Collaborative, adaptable approach when working through ambiguity and changing priorities
