Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A law degree or equivalent legal qualification
  • Current New South Wales practising certificate required
  • At least six years’ post-qualification experience
  • Experience at the level expected of a Senior Legal Counsel
  • Experience advising across multiple areas of law and independently managing complex legal matters
  • Ability to assess legal risk, business needs, options and trade-offs
  • Experience leading significant negotiations or cross-functional matters
  • Experience coordinating internal teams and external advisers
  • Ability to build trusted relationships with senior leaders and business teams
  • Ability to coach colleagues and improve legal services through playbooks, precedents and practical tools
