Key responsibilities & impact
  • Partner with Account-based sales executives and Channel Partners to lead new sales growth in the Design and Manufacturing space
  • Translate customer business issues into technical solutions
  • Evaluate customer strategies and align Autodesk offerings to customer goals and outcomes
  • Lead customer planning, engagement processes, and sales content curation as the primary technology expert
  • Build technical business cases through discovery workshops and solution building
  • Position Autodesk technology to solve customer business issues
  • Lead technical discovery and present findings and solutions
  • Manage technical relationships and collaborate with internal subject matter experts
  • Develop customer advocates and demonstrate thought leadership
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners and Customer Success teams to support satisfaction and adoption
  • Deliver executive-level presentations and messaging
  • Communicate Autodesk's competitive positioning
  • Track customer successes and identify future value
  • Monitor industry and global trends to develop revenue-growth ideas
  • Influence product development through customer feedback and business opportunities
  • Mentor Channel Partners on technical sales initiatives
  • Develop technical aspects of account plans and support sales execution
  • Lead whitespace planning and contribute to account planning
  • Align with decision makers to secure technical closure
  • Develop and deliver proposals and demonstrations
  • Position and sell Autodesk's unique value
  • Capture ROI metrics supporting customer goals and outcomes

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor or Masters in Engineering
  • 7+ years' experience in the Engineering industry
  • Technical knowledge using Autodesk Design and Manufacturing solutions such as Inventor, Vault, AutoCAD, Fusion Manage, or similar industry software
  • Selling and persuasion
  • Ability to manage workload independently and balance priorities
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to travel up to 50-70% by air and car to customers and Autodesk sponsored events
