About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Hire, ramp, and develop a team of BDRs
- Own the BDR team strategy and productivity playbook
- Set hiring standards and manage the 90-day ramp
- Hold representatives accountable for team and pipeline targets
- Establish a weekly coaching cadence and diagnose root causes of performance misses
- Develop outbound ICP, messaging, sequences, and sales technology stack
- Continuously revise the outbound playbook
- Create development plans and career paths toward AE or team lead roles
- Coordinate ICP evolution, campaign activation, and pipeline handoffs with Marketing and Sales
- Maintain alignment with Marketing and Sales on pipeline outcomes
- Report to the Director of Business Development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 1 to 3 years leading a BDR or SDR team at a SaaS or technology company, with documented attainment against team targets
- A repeatable BDR hiring process and ability to identify high-performing candidates
- Proven ability to coach representative behavior and change output
- Data fluency, including pulling reports, interpreting pipeline signals, and coaching to leading indicators
- Proven ability to hold Marketing and Sales operations accountable for pipeline outcomes
- Experience writing and continuously developing a BDR outbound playbook
- Nice-to-have: experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, or operations buyers
- Nice-to-have: familiarity with CMMS or EAM software
