About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Contribute to the digital project delivery vision and strategy for Autodesk
Conduct internal and external research across markets, competitors, and customer audiences
Lead cross-functional programs from strategy through launch
Coordinate Product, Platform, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and other teams around shared plans and timelines
Shape strategy for design management, including deliverable planning, progress measurement, and forecasting
Support regionalization of offerings through packaging, positioning, compliance requirements, and public-owner purchasing considerations
Translate project-team workflows into product requirements, value propositions, and market-facing positioning
Represent the customer voice on pricing, packaging, positioning, and business models
Create business cases for sales channels, partnerships, and mergers and acquisitions
Prepare executive briefings
Monitor and report business performance, usage, adoption, acquisition, and retention
Adjust go-to-market plans based on performance
Build and maintain the digital project delivery growth business plan
Develop sales plays and tools and support marketing content execution
Represent Autodesk at industry organizations and events
Serve as a contact for industry specialists, research analysts, press, and other third parties

Requirements

What you’ll need

BS, BArch, BEng or equivalent degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
8+ years of experience working within the AEC industry, or in strategy, product management, consulting, or go-to-market roles serving it
Demonstrable experience delivering projects across multiple disciplines, including design collaboration and coordination across firms
Experience planning or managing design production at project or program scale, including deliverables, schedule, progress measurement, and forecasting
Working knowledge of ISO 19650 information workflows and how information requirements are defined and validated
Experience with cloud-based design, collaboration, and management tools targeting architects, engineers, contractors, and owners
Ability to travel, including internationally
Knowledge of cloud and SaaS technology and business landscape
Exposure to US public sector owners at federal, state DOT, or municipal level, or familiarity with public procurement and contract vehicles
Familiarity with ERP and project controls data, and how resource, cost, and progress data connect to design production
Track record of research that changed a decision
Experience building business cases and forecasts for a product or portfolio, and reporting results to senior leadership
MBA preferred
