About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own product strategy and roadmap for an assigned People & Places domain portfolio
- Own visibility across tools, vendors, and contracts and drive renewal, divestment, and consolidation decisions
- Translate ambiguous employee and business problems into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Own the experience and intelligence layer above Workday and other systems of record
- Partner daily with ESE engineering teams from requirements through launch
- Evaluate AI capabilities using the vendor capture test
- Use AI in research, analysis, prioritization, and execution
- Build trust and alignment across technical and business stakeholders
- Drive adoption during the transition to a centralized technology model
- Define and own domain KPIs and build dashboards and leading indicators
- Identify portfolio risks, redundancies, and opportunities and bring recommendations to leadership
- Build new domain and technical fluency as the portfolio and tools evolve
Requirements
What you’ll need- Ability to own product strategy and roadmap for an assigned PPL domain portfolio
- Experience translating ambiguous employee and business problems into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to apply build-versus-buy principles and a six-dimension evaluation framework
- Ability to evaluate tools, vendors, contracts, renewals, divestment, and consolidation decisions
- Ability to partner with engineering teams through build and delivery
- Ability to use AI in research, analysis, prioritization, and execution
- Ability to define KPIs, dashboards, and leading indicators
- Ability to build trust and alignment across technical and business stakeholders
- Genuine learning agility and ability to build domain and technical fluency quickly
- Ability to drive decisions without relying on direct authority
