About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead hardware on-site support operations, including shipping, receiving, staging, break/fix, RMA processing, and lifecycle management for multiple clients
- Oversee the Logistics Center team and accountability for IT hardware inventory, receipt, configuration, deployment, and secure retirement
- Maintain organized hardware inventory in the ITSM platform, including serial-number tracking, asset assignment, and stock-level monitoring
- Oversee incoming shipments, unboxing, tagging, secure storage, and shipment of pre-provisioned equipment to remote employees or satellite offices
- Oversee the build room where laptops are imaged with the corporate operating system and standard applications
- Manage RMAs, warranty paperwork, vendor returns, and replacement equipment
- Coordinate secure hard-drive shredding, data compliance, and e-waste recycling
- Coordinate with the Development Team on laptop availability for new hires and with the Remote Support Manager on replacement parts
- Conduct one-on-one meetings, identify training gaps, verify Team Leads conduct one-on-ones, and enforce processes and procedures
- Prepare and present monthly operational summaries covering team performance metrics, project milestones, and resource requirements
- Maintain team morale, engagement, and collaboration with in-office and remote staff
- Support tablets, time clocks, DMP panels, CCTV cameras, Windows 11, Microsoft and Google products, and ServiceNow
- Stay informed of Logistics Center processes and procedures and ensure the team does the same
- Maintain and review team time entries for accuracy
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or Equivalent is required
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a Technical, Computer, Supply Chain, or related field preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Decisive, conscientious, and able to interact well in a team environment
- Demonstrated leadership, coaching, and team-building skills
- Desire to learn and ability to follow and enforce policies and procedures
- Strong working knowledge of and experience with computer hardware and peripheral devices in a diverse environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory, asset tracking, and documentation
- Self-motivated and self-driven
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- 3–5 years of preferred experience with enterprise-level Help Desk or IT Service Desk, onsite support, IT asset management, inventory control, and shipping/receiving
- 1–2 years of preferred team leadership or supervisory experience
- CCTV experience strongly preferred
- Windows 11 operating systems and ITSM platform experience (ServiceNow)
- Certifications preferred but not mandatory: CompTIA Security+, MCITP, A+, HDI Desktop Support Technician, ITIL Foundation
- Able to work Monday–Friday, anytime between 7 AM and 6 PM CST as needed
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
- Ability to work while standing or moving for extended periods
