About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as a technical translator between business and technology stakeholders for healthcare interoperability and workflow transformation opportunities
- Partner with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Delivery, and Customer Success teams to drive pipeline growth, accelerate technical wins, and architect scalable solutions
- Lead executive-level discovery sessions with CIOs, enterprise architects, interoperability leaders, and operational executives
- Develop compelling value and ROI narratives
- Map customer business objectives to Availity platform, interoperability, and workflow capabilities
- Design technical solution architectures aligned with customer environments and strategic goals
- Lead strategic business and technical discovery to identify customer challenges, workflow inefficiencies, and transformation opportunities
- Design integration strategies leveraging Availity Extend, FHIR APIs, interoperability standards, and workflow automation capabilities
- Present value-driven solution recommendations and reference architectures to executive and technical stakeholders
- Partner with Account Executives, Solutions Engineers, Product, and Delivery teams to accelerate technical wins and drive revenue growth
- Translate customer business requirements into scalable technical designs, integration approaches, and future-state workflow models
- Serve as a trusted advisor on interoperability, workflow modernization, and healthcare technology transformation initiatives
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Engineering, or a related field
- 3-6+ years of healthcare technology experience in solutions architecture, consulting, interoperability, implementation, or technical presales
- Experience in customer-facing roles supporting healthcare organizations, technology vendors, or consulting engagements
- Strong understanding of healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7, APIs, and X12 transactions
- Experience discussing technical architecture with executive and technical stakeholders
- Familiarity with provider and payer workflows, including revenue cycle, claims, eligibility, prior authorization, and clinical documentation processes
- Experience designing integration strategies and solution architectures
- Strong communication and presentation skills to translate business challenges into technical solutions and technical concepts into business value
- Demonstrated success partnering with sales teams to drive pipeline growth and customer adoption
- Experience with FHIR implementation guides, Da Vinci accelerators, and healthcare interoperability programs
- Experience integrating with EHR platforms such as Epic, Oracle Health (Cerner), Athenahealth, Meditech, or similar systems
- Knowledge of workflow orchestration, automation platforms, and cloud-native architectures
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, REST APIs, API gateways, and event-driven architectures
- Exposure to AI-enabled workflows, intelligent automation, or agentic healthcare solutions
- Ability to read code, understand data models, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams
- Must be able to use a camera for all virtual meetings
- Must pass a drug test before beginning employment
