About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Own complex projects and larger accounts within the Medical capability
Bring together people, priorities, and timelines to deliver meaningful client outcomes
Manage assigned projects from a project management and financial perspective, including planning, execution, and outcomes
Keep clients and internal stakeholders informed about project progress and escalate concerns to department leads
Drive timelines and act as an internal information hub for the account
Manage project finances to achieve Avalere Health KPIs and discuss corrective actions with clients and internal teams
Identify and generate opportunities with existing and new accounts
Develop and reconcile budgets
Update project management tools and run regular reports
Review project management processes and resolve issues
Develop and update timelines and schedules
Provide internal and external financial information
Invoice clients; track and phase projects
Manage traffic and update status sheets
Drive internal and client status calls
Mentor colleagues and guide best practices
Provide project feedback and input to action plans
Build collaborative relationships across Client Service, Editorial, internal teams, and external partners
Anticipate challenges, create clarity, and support colleagues' development

Requirements

What you’ll need

Minimum of 5+ years of experience in client facing project management roles within a Medical Communications agency
Experience working on Medical Affairs accounts is highly preferred
