About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive technical support to new and existing customers on site and virtually
  • Identify new sales opportunities and acquire new customers and product segments
  • Increase revenue and customer satisfaction
  • Develop and implement sales-promoting initiatives and the sales strategy for the product area
  • Work closely with regional sales teams
  • Provide technical support and training to the Sales Team
  • Contribute to supplier and product-category marketing activities
  • Represent the company at trade fairs and industry exhibitions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Completed vocational training or degree in a scientific field, ideally in biology, biochemistry, biotechnology, or a comparable discipline
  • Laboratory experience and/or initial experience in selling Life Science products
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with enthusiasm for building long-term customer relationships
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills combined with a clear focus on closing deals
  • Independent, entrepreneurial approach to work, along with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Proficiency in common IT tools (MS Office, Teams, and AI tools)
  • Very good German and good English skills
  • Category B driver's license
  • Based in Austria, ideally in the eastern region
  • Willingness to travel approximately 60%, including overnight stays
