About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide commercial support to external and internal customers within laboratory equipment
  • Respond to product and application inquiries
  • Identify customer needs and promote suitable solutions
  • Create, negotiate, and follow up on competitive quotations
  • Manage product-related quality feedback
  • Proactively sell the dedicated product range and cross-sell other product ranges
  • Train colleagues in dedicated product ranges
  • Participate in tender work, find products, and answer technical requirements
  • Follow market trends and build market intelligence
  • Participate in customer visits, exhibitions, customer events, and other marketing activities
  • Cooperate with local, regional, and European colleagues
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A degree in chemistry or a related natural science is required; an MSc level degree is preferred
  • Proven experience advising customers on technical, chemical, or laboratory products
  • Knowledge and/or experience in tender legislation is a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems
  • Fluency in Finnish and English
