About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage reseller and distributor relationships to support revenue growth and customer retention
  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for reseller accounts and key business partners
  • Develop and maintain account plans to drive growth within assigned reseller channels
  • Identify opportunities to expand reseller engagement and increase market penetration
  • Support execution of pricing programs, customer agreements, and commercial terms
  • Ensure reseller accounts comply with company policies and business processes
  • Manage an Inside Sales partner with 1 direct report
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with reseller partners, vendors, and self-manufactured product leaders
  • Manage escalated customer concerns and coordinate timely resolution
  • Support customer negotiations and commercial discussions
  • Advocate for reseller customers within the organization
  • Collaborate with Customer Service, Quotes, Pricing, Finance, Risk Management, Legal, and Sales teams
  • Support B2B engagement efforts to streamline ordering processes and reduce manual order interventions
  • Coordinate resolution of payment disputes, order issues, pricing discrepancies, and customer escalations
  • Provide guidance on reseller engagement, account ownership, and customer management processes
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency
  • Support revenue growth through indirect sales channels across the United States, with heavy engagement in Texas, California, and New Jersey
  • Work primarily from a home office with extensive regional travel to customer locations

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience working with commercial agreements, pricing programs, and customer negotiations
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, matrixed business environment
  • Willingness to travel to customer locations 5 days a week
  • Must hold a valid driver's license in good standing
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Teams
  • Preferred experience with CRM systems and QlikSense
  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in a distribution environment
  • Market knowledge and experience preferred
  • Account management and customer relationship management expertise
  • Knowledge of pricing, contracts, and commercial business practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to evaluate business opportunities and customer needs
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions across functions
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Effective conflict resolution and decision-making capabilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
