About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own the sales narrative and drive results with customers and prospects through channel partners
- Protect the core voice business while expanding into AI, Cloud, and Orchestration territories
- Act as primary business consultant to customer C-suite executives
- Lead discussions on TCO, ROI, and commercial justification for complex migrations
- Develop transition strategies for customers migrating from legacy environments
- Build modernization roadmaps while ensuring compliance with financial security standards
- Evangelize autonomous Agentic AI for complex workflows including loan processing, fraud detection, and wealth advisory
- Consult clients on overlaying cloud technologies and digital channels onto existing voice infrastructure
- Lead business discovery for large-scale CCaaS solutions across voice and digital channels
- Partner with engineering on product demonstrations and proofs of concept
- Maintain expert knowledge of the CCaaS competitive landscape and articulate Avaya’s differentiation
Requirements
What you’ll need- 5+ years of successful CCaaS/CX/UCaaS sales experience
- Strong preference for experience selling through channel partners
- Proven history managing complex legacy-to-cloud migrations and “Innovation without Disruption” strategies
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and whiteboarding skills
- Ability to lead strategic, value-focused discussions with C-level audiences
- Demonstrated history of hitting and exceeding sales targets and growing global accounts
- Ability to travel as required to achieve sales plans
- Bachelor degree or equivalent experience
- Master Degree is preferred
