About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Assist AveannaCare users, including participants, clients, care providers, and reimbursement recipients
  • Ensure efficient operations of AveannaCare
  • Assist users by email, phone, computer, or in person
  • Receive and handle incoming calls
  • Maintain and review punch and attendance entries within AveannaCare
  • Maintain and update Employee & Client Service Accounts in AveannaCare
  • Run AveannaCare reports and process data imports, including in a SQL report environment
  • Adhere to payroll and billing cutoffs and deadlines
  • Follow up with regional centers, families, and care providers
  • Complete Special Incident Reports and follow Regional Center guidelines
  • Resolve payroll and punch issues or concerns
  • Analyze, identify, and resolve AveannaCare issues
  • Use professional communication and conflict resolution techniques
  • Evaluate data issues and report feedback and observations to determine task priorities
  • Perform other duties as assigned or needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Candidates MUST be located in the state of IOWA
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required
  • Minimum of one year of payroll and/or customer service experience within the last four years
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; self-driven, motivated and results oriented
  • Strong analytical and judgment skills
  • Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel and ability to learn Aveanna’s proprietary software
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously; strong organizational skills
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Bilingual in Spanish, preferred
